intel\u00adli\u00adgence, speed counts and while<strong> ChatGPT 4 and its successor ChatGPT-4o<\/strong> are still winning over all users, OpenAI has already been sending the next giant into the ring since mid-September 2024: <strong>ChatGPT-o1 (o1)<\/strong>. As a beta user, I recently had the oppor\u00adtu\u00adnity to put the latest model through its paces and, of course, to send it into the ring with GPT-4o. Both candi\u00addates had to prove their <strong>general problem-solving ability<\/strong> as well as perform <strong>classic tasks in the everyday life of a data scien\u00adtist<\/strong>. This approach makes it more effec\u00adtive at tackling complex tasks, especi\u00adally in areas such as programming and math. Due to the model\u2019s reaso\u00adning function\u00ada\u00adlity, it takes more time to generate responses compared to previous versions. Additio\u00adnally, unlike models like GPT-4.0, files and images cannot be passed directly as input to the o1-preview model at the moment, and its data analysis function\u00ada\u00adlity is more limited.  <\/p>\n<p>When compa\u00adring o1-preview to model 4.0, one notable diffe\u00adrence is the emphasis on human-like reaso\u00adning in the o1-preview, which improves its ability to handle more complex, multi-step tasks.<\/p>\n<p>Given that the o1-preview model boasts enhanced reaso\u00adning capabi\u00adli\u00adties, we decided to test it with questions from various catego\u00adries that require a higher level of reaso\u00adning. The model has already demons\u00adtrated noticeable impro\u00adve\u00adments in reaso\u00adning tasks and language bench\u00admark tests compared to previous versions.
